Live Original Music

Its been said that most audience members prefer to hear something they are familiar with and can sing along with, hence why cover/tribute bands are typically hired for paid shows more often than original artists. Often times when I play live, I get audience members requesting more original songs, over other cover songs. This works out great because I can always play a good blend of covers and originals, or I can even do a full show playing only originals.

Heart felt

I love people. All the hardships and things we go through as human beings. I love music as a vessel to feel deeply and also connect with others who feel or have felt the same. I love creating and performing epic acoustic rock songs.

Deep, yet simple

The code for music was here billions of years before any lifeform existed. The Major scale (Which is also the same thing as the minor scale, just starting at different points) was here since the beginning, as if it was specifically made for human beings. Human beings are the only species who have organized the notes to make something that affects every one of us emotionally, biologically and neurologically. This realization is huge because it seems as if the universe had us in mind when it was created. I tend to put this kind of depth into my music and words. But my songs can also have very simple chord progressions, with easy sing-along lyrics, and simple melodies. Something for everyone!

Unforgettable

A lot of my melodies and lyrics are catchy and memorable. I often find audience members and friends singing lines from my songs to me after a show.

Large Versatile Catalog

With a large catalog of original music, this allows me to create the best set list for the venue and environment. I can play energetic and upbeat songs for high moments, sad or emotional songs for low moments, or soft background music for the crowd who wants to visit and talk to each other.

Unique

When I first started playing music, I started on the guitar and did not sing. I became a musician/guitarist before I became a vocalist, which allowed me to focus solely on mastering rhythm and lead guitar as well as music theory. This gave me a strong ability to add tasteful riffs and write interesting chord progressions. I later began singing, which was always my greatest weakness. I started off having a very weak voice and I always felt like the mechanical structure of my voice box greatly limited me and would never allow me to become a true vocalist. After many years of studying the voice through books, and videos and drilling/practicing as much as time would allow, I finally made it to a point where I can consider myself a vocalist. But it's always a work in progress. Needless to say, the route I have taken in music as well as vocals has given me a unique sound.

Nostalgic

Each song has a different blend of inspirations; hints of sounds from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond. I often have people come up to me and say my songs reminded them of different artists throughout the years. I think it's a good blend of both familiar and unfamiliar sounds.
